Shortcuts, application behavior, storage, logging, and permissions in one place.
The Settings screen is deliberately scope-reduced. For the full tour see Settings overview; this page is a quick reference to what each section controls.
Shortcuts
Edit the recording and History shortcuts (shared with the Home screen). See Recording window & shortcuts.
Application
- Launch at login and Start hidden for a background-style setup.
- Voice model active duration — the idle time before a loaded voice model is unloaded to free memory.
Storage
Pick the app folder location where your Profiles, vocabulary, history, and
downloaded models are stored. Changing it moves your files and then restarts the
app. Default: ~/Library/Application Support/UltraWhisper/.
Error logging
The app always keeps local logs of its activity and errors on your device; they never include audio or transcript text. Sending crash reports is opt-in and off by default. You can open the logs folder or export the logs from here.
