Switching & Activate for apps
Switch the active Profile manually, or let it follow the frontmost app.
Switching manually
The active Profile is the one used for your next dictation. Set it from the Profiles list — right-click a Profile and choose Set as active.
Activate for apps
A Profile can claim one or more apps. When you switch to an app listed in a Profile's Activate for apps, that Profile becomes active automatically. That way your mail client automatically uses your "Email" profile and your editor your "Code" profile — without touching anything.
Rules:
- The first matching Profile in list order wins.
- If no Profile matches the frontmost app, the current Profile stays active.
- Ultra Whisper's own window is ignored, so opening it won't change your Profile.
Tips
- Order matters — put more specific Profiles above general ones.
- You can still override automatic activation at any time with Set as active; it holds until the frontmost app changes to another claimed app.
